Dancer

More than 35 dancers are listed in this category, from Hollywood's musical era to social media. Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly and Josephine Baker represent the older generation; ballet dancer Roberto Bolle and choreographer Paula Abdul come later, and the youngest group, including JoJo Siwa, Maddie Ziegler and Julianne Hough, became known through television and online video.

Birth years run from 1899 to 2003, though most people here were born in the 1980s. Women make up the majority. The United States has the largest share, and Japan the second largest, ahead of France, Brazil and India. Several dancers also appear under Singer, Actor or Instagram, because many careers now move between stage, screen and social media. Profiles list age, birthday, height and nationality, and the dates of death for performers of earlier generations.
