Biography
Early life
F1NN5TER was born on 21 April 2000 in Birmingham, England. The creator is a British streamer who works mainly on Twitch and YouTube, and has also been active on TikTok. Little is publicly documented about the years before the online career began.
Career
F1NN5TER streams video games on Twitch and YouTube. Early on, the channel was known for Minecraft content, including playing as the characters of friends at events. The creator also took part in the MC Championship, a Minecraft tournament, and was on the winning team in event 16 in August 2021 and event 23 in July 2022.
In 2020 F1NN5TER started a fundraising idea called "Girl Week", later "Girl Month". Under its terms, viewers who donated enough money would see the streamer dress in a feminine style for a month, using an e-girl character called Rose. The format grew into a long-running look, with long hair and a styling that drew a large following on TikTok. In 2023 F1NN5TER ended the campaign, explaining that the clothing no longer felt like a costume and was simply part of everyday dress. F1NN5TER also joined OnlyFans, where the account reached the platform's top 0.01 percent of earners in its first week, and stopped streaming Minecraft after that to avoid reaching younger viewers.
In February 2023, Twitch suspended the channel for three days. The platform did not make the reason public, but F1NN5TER said it had been told the cause was a rule on touching a chest presented as female. The case prompted commentary from gaming and technology writers about how Twitch's clothing policy is applied, and it has since been cited in a University of Pennsylvania Law Review article on how clothing can communicate a message about gender.
Public roles
F1NN5TER has directed money to trans healthcare in the United Kingdom. In May 2023, together with a friend and viewer known as TenMuses, F1NN5TER gave $50,000 to GenderGP, a private provider of healthcare for trans young people. In March 2024, after the UK government decided to ban puberty blockers, The Times published a piece criticising the donation. F1NN5TER defended the gift on X. In a later YouTube video, F1NN5TER said that new concerns about GenderGP's business model had arisen and that the next large donation would go to a new non-profit.
In November 2025 F1NN5TER disclosed involvement in founding Anne Healthcare, a non-profit private trans healthcare provider in the United Kingdom. The organisation's statement said that F1NN5TER's early financial support, given during its founding in 2024, secured its first prescriber. A Christmas fundraiser tied to the announcement raised £35,804 against a target of £15,000. Anne Healthcare offers hormone prescriptions, mental health support and referrals for surgery to trans adults and young people, and reported supporting the care of 97 patients in 2025. Some members of the trans community criticised its fees, which include a one-off setup charge of £200 and a monthly membership on a sliding scale, while others praised the support. Its co-founder Lizzie Jordan said the service filled a gap left by long NHS waiting times and that such care should be available free through the NHS.
Recognition
In June 2024 INTO magazine placed F1NN5TER on its "25 Under 25" list of queer changemakers, citing the coming-out video and the charitable giving to trans healthcare. INTO also described the video as one of the most-watched coming-out videos by a creator in 2024.
Personal life
On 1 March 2024, F1NN5TER released a YouTube video called "Coming Out". In it F1NN5TER said the clothing had begun as a joke, that contact with trans viewers had helped F1NN5TER understand gender better, and that the identity of genderfluid fit best. The video also noted that F1NN5TER is bisexual and included conversations with parents who expressed support. It has drawn more than 2.6 million views. F1NN5TER's YouTube channel had around 674,000 followers in August 2025.
