Marica Hase Japanese Model Born 1981 in Tokyo

Early life

Marica Hase was born on 26 September 1981 in Tokyo, Japan. She is a Japanese model and adult film performer. Her name has appeared in different forms over the years: as a gravure model she worked under the name Marika Hase, she was billed simply as Marika when she began making adult videos, and she later returned to using her family name, Hase.

Career

Hase started out in 2007 as an erotic model and appeared in a number of DVD releases, working with other performers such as Tanuki Roku and Go Arisue. Around that time she had already been in contact with several major adult video studios.

In September 2009 she won a sponsored prize called Tinkle at the first SOD star Cinderella audition. She made her adult video debut in December 2009 with the studio SOD Create. In May 2010 she left SOD and moved to the EROTICA series of Japan Home Video, and she also began to work with other companies, including Moodyz and Cross. In June 2011 she wrote on her blog that she had been accepted as the second member of the idol unit OFA21. A few months later, in December 2011, she appeared in an edition of the newspaper Nikkan Sports. During her time in Japanese adult video she appeared in more than 200 titles, counting omnibus and re-edited releases.

On 31 March 2012 she announced on her blog that she would continue her career in the United States, and she moved there that year. In January 2013 she was named Penthouse Pet of the Month. For a time she tried to work in both the Japanese and the American industries, but by 2014 she had moved fully into American productions, working with companies such as Brazzers, Evil Angel, Kink.com and Wicked Pictures. She is one of the few Japanese performers who have made that change. By 2019 she had appeared in more than 300 Western scenes, and in total her output is put at more than 500 adult films. In October 2019 she was the cover model for the monthly magazine Hustler. Her only other listed screen credit is #WeAreMany, from 2018.

She has also kept a presence online, with a YouTube channel that had around 20,000 subscribers in August 2025.
