Career

Ayuso's first credit in the filmography used for this profile is the Netflix series Elite, which began in 2018. He joined the Spanish teen drama as Omar Shanaa, a young man who is Muslim and keeps his sexuality private, and whose relationship with Ander Muñoz, played by Arón Piper, is a central storyline. To prepare, he spent two months working with the director Ramón Salazar on his character. The programme ran for several seasons and his role continued until 2024. In 2021 the platform released a set of Elite Short Stories, three of which centre on his character in different combinations: Nadia Guzmán, Omar Ander Alexis and Samuel Omar.

After the main series, Ayuso took on a wider mix of work. The film On the Go dates from 2023. In 2025 he appeared in the series Mariliendre and in Silence, where he held fourth billing. In total his listing shows two films and seven television series between 2018 and 2026.
