iDubbbz American YouTuber With 7M Subscribers

Early life

Ian Kane Jomha, who was born Ian Kane Washburn, goes by the online name iDubbbz. He was born on 1 October 1990 in San Antonio. He studied at California State University San Marcos and graduated with a bachelor's degree in business management. His parents encouraged him to find a conventional job, but by the time he finished his degree his YouTube channel had grown enough to be a workable full-time occupation.

Career

iDubbbz is an American YouTube personality who runs the channels iDubbbzTV, iDubbbzTV2 and iDubbbzgames. He is known for comedy series including Bad Unboxing, Kickstarter Crap and Content Cop, and for collaborations with many other creators. Several of his videos and cameos spread widely as internet memes. As of June 2025 his main channel had about seven million subscribers.

Content Cop, which began in December 2015, is a series in which he examines other YouTube channels and the behaviour of their owners on social media. Episodes released between then and October 2017 covered personalities such as LeafyIsHere, Tana Mongeau and RiceGum. A May 2016 episode about Daniel Keem, known as Keemstar, and his channel DramaAlert received press coverage, and Keem responded publicly that he found the video entertaining.

In October 2017 he released a long Content Cop episode on RiceGum, structured around the seven deadly sins. It came out together with a music video for a diss track aimed at the same creator, "Asian Jake Paul", on which Boyinaband appeared. The song reached number 24 on Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales chart. It is the one single listed under his name. RiceGum answered with videos of his own, and iDubbbz followed up with a rebuttal episode, "Content Deputy – AJP", which included a cameo by Post Malone and which he described as his last word on the dispute.

In May 2023 he posted a video titled "I miss the old iDubbbz", in which he apologised to each creator featured in the series and to the people affected by harassment from his audience. He described parts of his earlier work as hurtful and unlisted the Content Cop videos. In April 2025 he revived the series with an episode about Ethan Klein of h3h3Productions.

Public roles

In January 2022 iDubbbz announced Creator Clash, a charity boxing event involving online personalities. The first edition took place on 14 May 2022 at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida, and was livestreamed. Participants included Doctor Mike, Harley Morenstein, Arin Hanson, Matt Watson, Nathan Barnatt and Michael Reeves, and the streamers Esfand and MoistCr1tikal took part as interviewer and commentator. The event was held again in 2023 for charity, but that edition failed to raise money for the causes involved. He then started a 24-hour Twitch stream with a target of recovering the lost 250,000 dollars, and it raised 162,121.69 dollars. In 2025 he announced that he was leaving Creator Clash.

Besides making videos, he has taken part in boxing as a promoter and a boxer, and he has moved into documentary filmmaking.

Personal life

iDubbbz married Anisa Jomha on 28 June 2021, after announcing their engagement two months earlier, and he took her surname.
