Biography
Early life
Gabriel Armando Mora Quintero, who performs as Mora, was born on 18 April 1996 and comes from Bayamón, Puerto Rico. Music was part of his life from childhood. He started on the flute at the age of six and later added the piano to his instruments.
His schooling leaned toward the arts. He attended a Montessori school whose approach gave creative subjects more room than a conventional curriculum would. During his teenage years he played basketball and tennis at Colegio San José in Río Piedras, and he kept writing and recording music alongside sport.
After secondary school he was admitted to the University of Puerto Rico to study business administration. He left after a short time without finishing the degree. He also spent time at the Berklee College of Music, which he left as well. In 2017 he committed to music as a profession and put out his first songs.
Career
Mora works as a singer, songwriter and record producer, and he is described as an American singer in the structured records held for him. His work sits within latin trap and reggaeton, and his releases have appeared through Rimas Entertainment, the label listed for him.
Much of his early profile came from production and composition credits on collaborative singles. Among the tracks he has been connected with are "Una Vez" and "Hibiki", both made with Bad Bunny, as well as "512" with Jhayco, "La Inocente" with Feid, and a remix of "Volando" featuring Bad Bunny and Sech. He also appears on "Pensabas" alongside Eladio Carrión, Brray and Joyce Santana, and he is credited on the songs "Memorias" and "Tuyo".
His own studio albums began with Primer día de clases in 2021. Microdosis followed in 2022, and the same year brought Paraíso. Estrella arrived in 2023, and Lo mismo de siempre in 2025. That makes five studio albums in the space of four years, all released after he began putting out songs in 2017. The credits above show him working behind the scenes as a producer and composer as well as appearing as a performer, while the albums make up his main body of solo work.
His YouTube channel had about 3 million subscribers when it was last counted, in May 2025. That figure is a snapshot from a single date and will change over time.
Recognition
Mora's discography page on Wikipedia carries headings for the Grammy Awards and the Latin Grammy Awards, but the records used for this profile list no wins and no nominations, so no specific honours can be reported here. Any nominations by those bodies would be added once they appear in the underlying data.
Personal life
Little is documented about Mora's private life beyond his upbringing and education, and this profile does not go beyond what is on record. No spouse or notable children are listed for him.
