In 2003 she entered the classical guitar department at Dokuz Eylül University in İzmir, part of its Buca Faculty of Education, and she graduated in 2010. Her coursework there included polyphonic choir, singing, and both Turkish and Western music harmony. During these student years she kept performing on stage with a number of amateur rock bands.

Career

Between 2005 and 2008 Turgut worked as a classical guitar and choir teacher at a private music classroom. In 2007 she joined the rock band A Due Carmen, which later took the name Model. With the group she recorded three albums: Perili Sirk (2009), Diğer Masallar (2011) and Levlâ'nın Hikayesi (2013). The band toured and gave concerts in many Turkish cities. Two singles from the Model period are also documented, "Bir Pazar Kahvaltısı", recorded with Emre Aydın in 2014, and "Mey" in 2016.

She later moved to a solo career. Her first solo single listed for 2016 was "Bensiz Bir Sen", made with the band You May Kiss The Bride, and "İlkbaharda Kıyamet" came out in the same year. In 2017 she contributed "Yıllar Sonra" to the soundtrack of Biz Size Döneriz. Her debut solo album, Elimde Dünya, arrived in 2019. Between those releases she kept up a steady series of singles: "Aşk Tadında" in 2018 and, in the same year, "Efsaneyiz" with Ferman Akgül. In 2019 she released "Bir Varmış Bir Yokmuş", "Palavra", a song from the catalogue of Fikret Şeneş, and "Yangın Yeri" with Can Baydar.

The following years brought a pattern of collaborations. In 2020 she released a rap version of "Dünya Tek Biz İkimiz" with Ayben. In 2021 she issued "Ben Vardım", "Dünyalar Senin Olsun" and "Aramızda Uçurumlar", the last one with Suat Suna. "İkimizden Biri" and "Kalbe Zarar", a duet with Cakal, appeared in 2022. In 2023 she released "Bensiz" with Cem Adrian and "Umay" with Faun.

Her music is listed under rock, and the instrument she plays is the guitar. Her releases have come out through the Doğan Music Company, and her work as a classical guitarist is reflected in her teaching background and training. Her Instagram account had about 690,000 followers as of October 2026, the largest of her social media audiences.
