Khloé Kardashian is an American television personality and businesswoman. She was born on 27 June 1984 in Los Angeles. She became widely known as a cast member of the reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and she has since hosted her own shows, launched a fashion brand and started a podcast.

Early life

Khloé Alexandra Kardashian was born in Los Angeles to Kris Jenner and the attorney Robert Kardashian. She has two older sisters, Kourtney and Kim, and a younger brother, Rob. Her parents divorced in 1991, and her mother later married Caitlyn Jenner, which brought several stepsiblings and half-sisters, including Kendall and Kylie, into the family. Her father became widely known in 1994 as a defence lawyer in the O. J. Simpson murder trial.

She attended a number of schools, among them Montclair College Preparatory School, Marymount High School and Pacific Hills School, and she completed her secondary education with honours a year early. Before her family's television career began, she worked as an assistant to Nicole Richie.

Career

In 2007 Kardashian, her mother, her siblings and her stepparent were commissioned to star in Keeping Up with the Kardashians on E!. The programme ran for twenty seasons, until 2021, and led to several spin-offs. Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami debuted on 16 August 2009, following the sisters' move to open a store in Miami, and Kourtney and Khloé Take the Hamptons followed in 2014. Her own show with her then husband, Khloé & Lamar, premiered on 10 April 2011.

In 2009 she competed on the second season of The Celebrity Apprentice and finished tenth of sixteen. She co-hosted the second season of the American version of The X Factor with Mario Lopez in 2012. In January 2016 she hosted a talk show, Kocktails with Khloé, which ran for fourteen episodes. She starred in and produced the fitness series Revenge Body with Khloé Kardashian, which premiered on 12 January 2017. When the family moved to Hulu, the new series The Kardashians premiered on 14 April 2022, and it has continued through several seasons.

She has also worked in books and business with her sisters. They published Kardashian Konfidential in 2010 and the novel Dollhouse in 2011, and she published a solo book, Strong Looks Better Naked, in 2015. The sisters launched clothing lines, jewellery and fragrances. In 2016 she co-founded the fashion brand Good American with Emma Grede, which reported one million dollars in sales on its first day. In August 2019 she became an executive producer on a new season of Twisted Sisters, and in 2020 she became brand ambassador and co-owner of the supplement company Dose and Co. In January 2025 she launched a weekly podcast called Khloe in Wonderland, and in April 2025 she released a protein popcorn brand called Khloud.

Recognition

Her main television credits include Keeping Up with the Kardashians, The Kardashians, Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, Khloé & Lamar and Revenge Body with Khloé Kardashian. Her screen credits run from 2007 to 2022, and she is listed among the most followed people on Instagram, with a large audience on that platform and a YouTube channel with around one million subscribers.

Public roles

Kardashian has spoken publicly in support of recognition of the Armenian genocide, and she has visited the memorial in Yerevan. In April 2021 she praised the United States president for formally recognising it. In October 2020 she spoke on an ArmeniaFund telethon to urge donations for people affected by the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. She is also a Christian, and she was named godmother of her niece North West in 2015.

Personal life

Kardashian married the basketball player Lamar Odom on 27 September 2009. She filed for divorce in December 2013, and the divorce was finalised in December 2016. She has two children.
