Early life

Fabio Grangeon was born on 27 January 1989 in Toulouse, France. His parents loved to travel, so he spent much of his childhood moving between countries in the Caribbean and changing schools along the way. Back in his home city, he enrolled at Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier University in 2010 to study international commerce, and during his university years he worked part-time as a model.

That same year he went to Taiwan on a nine-month exchange at Ming Chuan University, hoping to learn more about Asian culture. When the exchange ended he returned to France, completed his bachelor's degree and took a few acting classes in Paris. The memory of life in Taiwan stayed with him, however, and shortly afterward he moved back there. He has remained based in Taiwan since.

Career

After settling again in Taiwan, Grangeon worked as a freelance model. In 2014 he joined the talk show Half and Half on the channel EBC as one of its hosts. The programme brought him his first real public attention, and the following year he was invited to co-host several other EBC television shows.

His acting work began in film. He appeared in the 2017 romance All Because of Love and took a main part in the 2019 romance When Green Turns to Gold. In 2020 he was cast in a supporting lead role in Your Name Engraved Herein, a romance about two young men. He played Father Oliver, a French-Canadian priest who hesitates over whether to bless the couple's relationship. The role is the one for which he gained wide public recognition.

His first major television part followed in 2021 in the historical drama Seqalu: Formosa 1867. Grangeon played Charles Le Gendre, a French-born American diplomat who was sent to look into the Rover incident. For the part he put on 8 kilograms and lost 5 kilograms of fat, and he studied the history of nineteenth-century Taiwan so that he could portray a real historical figure with some accuracy.

Beyond these screen credits, Grangeon keeps an active public profile through social media, where his Instagram account had about 165,000 followers in October 2026. He is listed as both an actor and a model, and he holds French nationality.
